What My Dentist Said….

I went to the dentist complaining of dry mouth.  To my surprise he recommended I snack on Sour Candies!

Evidently the sourness stimulates the salivary glands and this helps with dry mouth.   Even though sour candy is acidic, the saliva helps to restore the natural balance of the acid in the mouth. In fact, he said not to brush my teeth after eating the candy, but to wait 30 minutes to let the saliva do its job. I took his advice and bought Super Sours fruit flavored candy and imagine that, it worked!

Being told to eat candy to help cure a medical condition may sound too good to be true but in my case it really, really helped!
