Fun new capsules at the store

Whoever thinks up the stuff to put in capsules has a truly active imagination.

My kids had a ball the other day when they checked out the new capsules in the vending machines at the convenience store.

My five-year-old daughter giggled all the way home at the silly Monkey Head Danglers Vending Capsule she got out of the vending machine. She immediately put it on her school backpack and says it will help find her pack at school because so many of them are the same color. And now she wants to go back and get one for her jacket zipper because she loves all seven different monkey faces.

I also let her get a Too Cute Rings Vending Capsule because they really are too cute. She got a pink and white heart for herself and a blue and green butterfly for her best friend. There again, with 14 more darling rings of all colors you know we’ll be back for more.

Then my seven-year-old son had his turn at the machines. First he wanted the Glow Mouth Guards Vending Capsules , to scare all the girls at school, but then he saw the Splatterz Eye Balls Vending Capsules and couldn’t resist them. He’s sure the sticky eye balls will horrify the girls even more. The eye balls come in green, blue, blood shot red, pink, orange and more, and yes, they are scary.

But I like the mouth guards, so we got two of them, one for my son and one for me. Each capsule has a glow stick and a mouth piece, so we can use them over and over and they’re non-toxic. I want to surprise my husband when he gets home from work. I’ll tell him I just had my teeth cleaned today.

It’s fun to be a kid again!
