Graduation Gumball Lei’s–

For graduation a colleague of mine made some bubble gum candy leis. The lei’s were made out of 1”gumballs. They looked really cool cause she used gumballs that were the school colors ( burgundy, white, and grey).  There are many colors of gumballs out there in the gumball world to match every school’s color.
The gumballs where strung together by poking a hole big enough to string ribbon. She used a crocheting needle to string through the ribbon. After each gumball she tied a knot so the gumball was secure. 25 gumballs were used per lei.
This is something that everyone can do for all kinds of different occasions and with different colors and ideas. The gumballs where purchased through candymachines.com.
In my opinion I think these leis look a lot better than the ones that are wrapped in the plastic.
