Bubble King’s soft chew gum
I just tried a new bubble gum that’s a softer chew than most. It’s perfect for me, because I’ve noticed that the older I get the harder the standard bubble gum seems to chew. These new soft chew Bubble King Classic Assorted Gumballs and Bubble King Classic Pink Gumballs make it fun again to blow big bubbles. Plus my grandchildren get a big kick out of challenging me to bubble gum blowing contests. The biggest bubble I can blow is 18 inches, but Susan Montgomery of California is the world’s best blower with a 23 inch bubble. Maybe someday ……..
Seems like bubble gum has been around forever, but actually it was first founded in 1906 by Frank H. Fleer and introduced to the United States in 1911.
But can you imagine, it wasn’t a hit until 1924 when the Shelby Gum Company of Shelby , Ohio produced bubble gum under the name “Blow Gum”.
Today candymachines.com offers the Bubble King Classic gumballs in eight bright colors and the Bubble King Classic Pink Gumballs in the traditional pink color each with the Bubble King logo stamped on every piece. And you know I’ll be back for more and so will my grandchildren. They’re determined to beat my record bubble. I may even try out for the Bubblegum World Championship contest.
