Runts candy (sometimes called Fruit Runts) are sold by Nestle under their famous Willy Wonka Candy Company brand name. Runts first appeared on the market in 1982. They are fruit flavored and fruit shaped candies. Runts have a hard candy shell with a somewhat powdery center. The candies are in the shape of the fruit flavor they represent - banana, orange, strawberry, grape, and green apple. Runts are a favorite vending candy and it's fun to have a bag on hand for everyday candy fruit munching.

Made by Nestle, these candies typically vend for 25¢ in commercial vending machines that have an adjustable candy dispensing wheel which controls the number of pieces that vend per quarter. They will also dispense in our candy banks and dispensers. Candy is best stored in a cool, dry, low humidity location. Their shelf life can be up to 18 months if not exposed to extreme hot or cold temperatures.

This is Bananas!
Not Enough Bananas My husband Always Says! I like the amount of variety. I have no issue with these, clearly I am not the one big on the bananas I am big on the red hearts. My husband says I am lucky there’s a lot of red. I guess he’s “green” with envy. Everyone in this house has their favorite one, but my daughter says “orange” you glad we all love runts? We all really do love them! We all agree the purple is the least favorite, but it is still good. I have never come across a runt I didn’t like.
